2020 presented an unprecedented opportunity for the technology, startup and venture ecosystem to double click on their commitments to operationalize authentic diversity, equity & inclusion across their governance & board, human resources, purchasing, product development, go to market, investment and impact. Many companies made public statements that #BlackLivesMatters #BlackTechMatters. Then they hired diversity & inclusion leads. Yet, many companies haven't figured out how to sacrificially move the needle beyond their performative statements and pilots to sacrificially advance equity and parity in tech, the future of work, fourth industrial revolution, culture and beyond.
